LG Optimus Launch Conference Summary

Digital Manila received an e-invite the other day for an online press conference by LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. The digital press conference was held earlier today - September 14th, 2010 1700hrs Philipine time (GMT +8).

I paused from my live viewing of another mobile phone company's conference which started an hour earlier. I logged in a little early and caught some pre-event screenshots such as above. :)

During the event, LG delivered its smartphone business strategy and introduced their latest smartphones followed by an interactive Twitter-based Q&A session.

I was interested with the latest smartphones they introduced. It was the LG Optimus One and the LG Optimus Chic.

LG Optimus with Google Apps

LG Optimus One featured the latest technologies from Google mobile such as the Google Goggles and Google Maps integration. They also had a demonstration of the a cool voice application, among others.

The LG Optimus Chic on the other hand caters to the fashion-conscious with its sleek design of soft and smooth lines.

The LG Optimus launch conference was brief, concise, and direct to the point. It was a good one for the first online press conference I attended. Now, if only my bandwidth was larger enough and the signal was not as choppy. :)
