Pacquiao Wins, Hatton Hit in 2nd Round

Pacquiao wins, Hatton knocked out in round two. I'm not surprised.

What was unusual was how fast Pacquiao finished the fight. Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton was done so early on with blood on his face. He was able to recover after the first knock down but was too shocked to get up again from the second.

Although many boxing experts predicted a knock out by the 8th to 10th round, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao proved them wrong once again. However, many of Manny Pacquiao's fans expressed slight disappointment over the quick victory. Even they themselves were not expecting Hatton to come down at the second round.

Freddie Roach, Manny Pacquiao’s trainer was right. He earlier said that the fight is going to be short (article here).

“Manny is in the greatest shape of his life... I will be disappointed if the fight goes longer than three rounds,” declares Roach.

Furthermore, Pacquiao now holds six weight division championship belts. Filipinos once again unite in cheer for their pound-for-pound boxing idol Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. So who's next?
