Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao Faces Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton

In two days, Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao and Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton will finally have their face-off at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, May 2 (Sunday, May 3 Philippine time).

Dubbed as the "Battle of East and West" by TopRank and Golden Boy Promotions, others tagged it as the "War of the Worlds."

It has long been touted that Hatton might put the black dot on Pacquiao's winning stars. He considered as the top pound-for-pound fighter in the world, but Hatton never had a loss at a 140lb fight. Hatton's linear junior welterweight title is currently up for grabs.

Pacquiao is also labelled as the 'Mexicutioner', but Hatton is from England. :) Are these signs of an impending upset for Pacquiao in this junior welterweight boxing showdown?

Freddie Roach, Manny Pacquiao’s trainer, believes that the fight is going to be short.

“Manny is in the greatest shape of his life... I will be disappointed if the fight goes longer than three rounds,” declares Roach.
Pacquiao himself reassured his readiness to fight Hatton.

"I am ready for the fight on Saturday” Pacquiao said as he promised to give another entertaining fight.
Early last week, both camps have arrived at the Mandalay Bay where Pacqiao will be staying after a short press conference at the MGM Grand Lobby.

"I don't want to talk too much before the fight...I want to let my fists do the talking in the ring," Pacquiao said.
I believe Manny Pacquiao, a six-division champion, has the upper hand in this fight in terms of tapes and will be able handle the Hitman Hatton. See this Pacquiao vs Hatton measurements.
Moreover, Hatton is not indestructible, he was already knocked out by Floyd Mayweather in 2007 in the welterweight division.
