LG Electronics finally introduces a sleek, slim and light smartphone - the LG Optimus Black. Weighing only 109g, it is one of the lightest phones around. Its thinnest portion at the ends of the unit measure at 6 mm while its thickest portion is only 9.2 mm.
The LG Optimus Black has a bright display care of NOVA which delivers optimal brightness and readability under any lighting conditions. The crystal-clear display also provides a "natural web browsing experience by displaying truer whites while simultaneously cutting energy consumption by 50 percent compared to conventional LCDs".
Other LG Optimus Black features include Gesture UI, Wi-Fi Direct and a 2MP front-facing and 5MP back-facing camera.
The LG Optimus Black is also powered by Android™ 2.2 Froyo, which is upgradable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Its 1GHz processor promises a fast web browsing experience.
