Philippine top gamers ready after two gaming preliminaries last June 26 and July 4 on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Street Fighter 4. With Asus, they are set for their final digital battle for the World GameMaster Title and Php100,000 in cash come July 17 at Cyberzone in SM Manila.
Four teams topped other Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare gamers last June 26 at the preliminaries at Mineski Infinity Cyber Café. Teams TFK-S, TFK-R, Q and UX2 will need to compete once again for the final round to see who will win the Php100,000 cash prize. The second placer will get Php50,000 while the third place team will take home Php25,000.
A fifteen thousand cash prize will be awarded to one of the eight semi-finalists who will win the Street Fighter 4 round. David Algarme, Andrew Martinez, Santa, Andre Quiray, Marc Madle, Jobe Franco, Ben Gonzales and Luigi Pensotes all showed their best fighting moves at BO’s Coffee, Glorietta 5 last July 4. They will again need to show off their skills at the Street Fighter 4 finals using the new ASUS N61Jv multimedia notebook.
These gamers will also get to experience top-notch hardware in the competition. ASUS, the recommended hardware sponsor has prepared the ultimate Intel Core i7 gaming rig using the P7P55D LE Asus motherboard and the ASUS EAH5750 Formula video graphics card. A special media tournament will also take place during the finals where they can punch it out at Street Fighter 4 to get a chance to win an ASUS UL 30 notebook. Lastly, Up Dharma Down and Franco will be rocking the house with their newest hits to entertain the crowd.
