Samsung Wave 525 Focuses on Social Networking

Samsung launched the Wave 525 (S5253) as their latest Bada smart phone a few months ago. Bada is Samsung’s open mobile platform. Samsung Wave 525 features breakthrough connectivity in popular social networking sites using the Social Hub technology.

Samsung’s Social Hub integrates all contact details, social networks, and email services into one phonebook. It makes connection and sharing seamless such as getting the latest posts and statuses. Tweets and messages are also made ready with one touch in the Social Hub. Messages are pulled into one integrated screen.
With the new Wave 525, Samsung strengthens its foothold in the Smartphone category...Now consumers don’t need to spend much just to indulge and enjoy the benefits of a smartphone,” says Glenn Glinoga head of the Mobile Communications Business at SEPCO.

The Samsung Wave 525 mobile phone also has WiFi support and Geo-tagging. The latter lets you tag photos by location so that you can easily sort images. This feature also allows you to use GPS for other useful apps on your Wave smart phone.

The Bada platform offers access to applications from Samsung Apps. It's an application store accessible from the Wave phones or the PC. It features gaming, social networking, health and lifestyle applications. Samsung Apps delivers instant access to a huge range of mobile experiences. Apps can be easily downloaded without having to install any software by accessing Samsung Apps right on the phone or synching the device to a PC.

Moreover, Samsung Kies allows browsing of Samsung Apps on PC and comes in handy for downloading large files and content. Java Applications will also be offered on Samsung Apps for Wave 525.
