I don't usually post about personal fab finds here in Digital Manila. However, I recently came across some interesting products from Echostore while meeting with some friends at Le Bistro.
In particular is this antibac hand sanitizer spray which smelled really good after application. The label also indicated no harmful chemicals used. Green Baskets as Christmas Gifts
What made it more interesting were their Green Baskets. These are group-packaged products in Green Baskets made by communities with reusable and natural materials.
I thought that these would make great alternative Christmas gifts instead of the usual ones we give or receive every Christmas season.

The Waterliliy baskets are from the Las Pinas which turned the problem of waterliliy over-abundance at the Zapote River into a livelihood program.
Moreover, the magazine boxes are rolled recycled magazines produced under the guidance of Filipinas Fair Trade Foundation (FFTF) while the Corn Husk Baskets are made from woven recycled corn husks by the farmers of Basista, Pangasinan - imagine all those sources!
