2010 Philippine Holidays

As the new year breaks, people start to plan for the rest of the year with their list of Philippine 2010 holidays. Either checking out the holy week or the long-weekend holidays as a guide for their 'leave' plans.
Here's the list for your convenience based from Proclamation 1841 declaring the list of 2010 Philippine holidays.

January 01 - New Year’s Day
February 22 - People Power Revolution Anniversary (Mon nearest Feb 25) **
April 01 - Maundy Thursday (Holy Week)
April 02 - Good Friday
April 09 - Araw ng Kagitingan
May 01 - Labor Day
June 14 - Independence Day (Monday nearest June 12)
July 27 - Iglesia ni Cristo Founding anniversary ***
August 23 - Ninoy Aquino Day *
August 30 - National Heroes Day (last Monday of August)
November 01 - All Saints Day (Monday) *
November 29 - Bonifacio Day (Monday nearest November 30)
December 24 - Special Non-Working Day *
December 25 - Christmas Day (Saturday)
December 27 - Rizal Day (Monday nearest December 30).
December 31 - Special Non-Working Day *

May 10 is a national election day and is a special non-working holiday.

Holidays for Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha are yet to be declared

All are regular holidays are marked appropriately
