Three days to go and it's iBlog5- The 5th Philippine Blogging Summit. Registration is still free and starts as early as 8am. Surprise freebies for first 150 registrants to arrive. Program proper starts 9am with the topic Blogging 101 by Mica Rodriguez and AJ Matela. Check below for the rest of the program.
7:00 pm onwards After-Event Party (sponsored)
- COMELEC on Blogging & Bloggers (Dir. James Jimenez, COMELEC-EID Director)
- Citizen Journalism for the 2010 Elections (Oliver Robillo, NAMFREL Chairman - Davao City)
- The Bloggers Election Handbook project release (Janette Toral)
iBlog is personally special to me as last year's iBlog was my first major blogger event in terms of number of participants. I was also part of the volunteer group then as this is a non-profit summit/conference for bloggers supported by Ms. Janette Toral and the UP Internet Society among others. Thank you to the event sponsors for helping as well.
Late Registration
Online registration closed formally last April 30, 2009 but you can still attend. Click here to see how come. Even though you were not able to register online, you could still come but food and freebies are not guaranteed anymore since the number is estimated for those who registered only. Check list of registrants here (see who's number 9 :) ).
Internet Access
Internet access will be provided in the venue. For those who will be using plurk and/or twitter , use the hash tag #iblog5. More details here.
See you at the iBlog5 Philippine Blogging Summit in three days. :)
