No Classes in NCR and Nearby Provinces

After further evaluating the devastation caused by typhoon Ondoy (Kestana), Commission on Higher Education (CHED) announced earlier that classes in areas under the state of calamity will remain suspended until Saturday (Oct 03).


These areas include Metro Manila and surrounding provinces including Rizal, Laguna, and Cavite. The suspension is applied in all levels including college.

Moreover, most of the public and private schools in the metro are used as evacuation centers for the victims of typhoon Ondoy.
